This project was designed as a collection of five detached single-family homes located on the edge of historic Sisters, Oregon. The homes are within walking distance of Downtown Sisters, offering both the convenience of scenic Sisters and immediate access to nature. Three of the homes are oriented towards the existing road, which is lined with large ponderosa pine trees, and they are situated with alley access for vehicles. In this project, there are two prototype houses, and by mirroring the plans and making slight reconfigurations to each one, we were able to create private areas for each home. Two of the prototypes have second-story covered porches with views of the Three Sisters mountains.

The use of natural cedar lap siding, shingles, and exterior trim is complemented by burgundy aluminum-clad windows, resulting in a subtle color scheme that harmonizes with the natural surroundings.
